Wedding Planner or Wedding Stylist: Which Should You Hire? People who are planning to get married may have chances to get confused about these terms. Kerala Wedding Planners explaining here clearly about the basic difference between both these terms.

Anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows that the quality of help hired can literally make or break the entire affair. And any harried bride-to-be would be glad to hire someone to help out. But that help seems to have so many names – wedding planners, wedding stylists, and wedding decorators and so on. Are all these terms interchangeable? Let’s find out!

Wedding planner vs. wedding stylist

A wedding planner literally plans the wedding. They are the ones who will be with you from start to finish and even beyond. They will be involved in the minute details of every ceremony and event and also juggle the various responsibilities such as hiring and supervising decorators, caterers, florists etc. The wedding planner is your right-hand man or woman.

A wedding stylist, on the other hand, has a much more restricted but equally important range of activities. They are the creative geniuses you can hire to convert wedding vision to reality. They take responsibility for the visuals – the theme, whether every element of the wedding fits the theme, backdrops, decorations, colors and so on.

Which one do you need and when?

You need a wedding planner when you want to put your feet up and enjoy your wedding. In other words, you need a wedding planner if you want to pass on the organization and administration responsibilities to an expert. The wedding planner will have everything in hand, no detail is too tiny to brainstorm about and execute, but at the same time, they retain a God’s eye view of the entire production.

On the other hand, you need a wedding stylist when you want a very specific theme or vision to be created. They will take care of the optics of the wedding, styling and coordinating diverse decorative elements to blend into one seamless, elegant affair.
